Private Arthur Dibb, second son of Mr and Mrs Dibb, of Pontefract Road, Castleford has been killed.

Private Dibb enlisted at the outbreak of war, and has seen service in Egypt and France. He was attached to the headquarters staff met his untimely end by the person of shrapnel.
He formerly worked in the Melton Field seam at Houghton Main Colliery.
