Sees To The Guns

Leading Aircraftsman Harry Barnett (22), son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Barnett, of John Street, finds life in the R.A.F. far more interesting than life in the colliery.

He worked at Houghton Main for several years. He joined up three years ago and is still in England. He was over on leave for the New Year.

His work is principally looking after armoury, and examining guns, etc., to see they are perfect.
