Great Houghton Helping Russia

Jean Hepworth (13), of Sandhill, Great Houghton, and some her school friends, have met at her home and formed a sewing party.

With the articles thee have made and sold they have raised 15 shillings, which they have sent to Mrs. Churchill for her Aid to Russia Fund.

Jean is very proud of the letter of thanks she has received from Mrs Churchill.
