Great Houghton Miner’s Fatal Injury
A miner named Francis Wellesley Burkinshaw, aged 55, of Sandhills, Great Houghton died at his home on Tuesday from injuries sustained when working at the Hickleton Main Colliery, on the 15th inst.
A fall of coal injured the deceased on the back, and after receiving medical attention he was taken home, where he died as stated.
