Holiday Attractions

Different sections of the community are using the holiday season for attractive functions.

On Good Friday, the bowling tournament organised by Mr George Walker takes place.

In the evening the Wesley choir present the cantata, “The Galilean,”

Easter Monday brings a varied fare.

The Short Distinct Union has arranged a competition flight with good prizes. Tennis opens with a tournament in the Sports Field with prizes offered by Mr Walker. Billingley’s attraction is a service of song, whilst at night in the Welfare Hall, the officials of the Nursing Association are hoping to see their funs increased by means of the long dance they are organising.

A further effort on their behalf will be made on Easter Wednesday when the Tennis Club will give a musical programme in the Welfare Hall.
