Nurse’s Success

Miss Phyllis Harrison, formerly of Sandhill, Great Houghton, has received a gold medal for obtaining the highest marks in her final examination qualifying her as a State Registered Children’s Nurse.  Miss Harrison, who is 23, attended Great Houghton Council School.

She is now a member of the staff of Bradford Children’s Hospital.

She left the district with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Harrison, some time ago, when they went to New Rossington.
