Retired Miner of 77 Found Hanged

Tom Roebuck (77), retired miner, of Middlecllffe Lane, Great Houghton, near Barnsley, was found hanging in the kitchen of his home, yesterday, by a, friend, Tom Marshall.

Earlier Roebuck had been the village club, apparently in normal spirits.

His wife died last month, and it is stated he had since been depressed.
