Got His Wish

Ernest Sills (27), has always longed to join the Navy, and now has got his wish. Six weeks ago he joined up as a stoker. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sills, of Middlecliffe.

Formerly a workman at Houghton Main Colliery, Ernest writes home saying he ought to have joined up long ago.
