Pte. Henry Andrews, of Sandhill, Great Houghton, was killed in action on August 13.

He joined the K.O.Y.L.I. just after the commencement of war, and was drafted to the Front in July, 1915.

He has served in France, Egypt, and Salonica.

Private Andrews was previously employed at the Brierley Colliery.
