Grew 3 ½  Inches

William Morris, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Morris. Dearne Street, Great Houghton, who is attached to the K.0.Y.L.I., has recently been on leave, looking fit and strong.

He joined the Forces two years ago and formerly worked at Houghton Main Colliery.

Since joining up he has grown from 5ft. 2 ½ ins. to 5ft. 6ins. He is 20.

William has been to France, but prefers England, where he is now stationed. He says army life is all right, and the food is good.
