Good News from Egypt

William Woodward, of Rotherham Road, Great Houghton, is attached to the West Yorkshire Regiment. He has been in the Army for three Years and is now in the Middle East. On Saturday his wife received a cable to say he is all right after recent heavy lighting out there.

Before the war Woodward worked at South Kirkby Colliery.

He has a son and two daughters, who attend school in Great Houghton.
