Children’s Treat at Great Houghton.

The photo represents a kindly effort to give pleasure to some of the little ones.

Mr. Sutherland and his worthy wife took the lead, assisted by friends, and the mothers of the children contributing a halfpenny each, arrangements were made for a tea party for the youngsters.

The children enjoyed the event very much, and credit is due to the promoters for their thoughtfuluess.
