Darfield Man Overseas

Bernard Roebuck (22), son of Mr. and Mrs. Pearson Roebuck, of West Street, Darfield, is in the R.A.F. as an equipment assistant overseas.

He has cabled home stating that he has arrived safely at his destination. Bernard, who was formerly a member of Darfield Church Bible Class and Institute, worked at Houghton Main Colliery as a storekeeper.

His brother Norman has been in the R.A.F. for about four years, and is a Sergeant.
