Darfield and Houghton Help Trinidad

Many people in the Darfield and Houghton district have contributed to the cost of this little Wesleyan mission church in Trinidad, whose pastor is the Rev. S. Avill, a native of Darfield. Mr. Avill went out into this missionary field five years ago.

The original church was burned down, and Mr. Avill has built the new one partly with money which he induced his friends in the Darfield district to subscribe.

Mr. Avill is at present on leave in this country, and his Darfield friends have been delighted to see him looking so well. He returns to Trinidad in October.
