Houghton Main, who well in the running for the championship of the Barnsley Association League, beat Lundwood Ex-Serviceman 7-0 at Middlecliffe.

Ron Stoyles, centre forward, who joined them from Wombwell and Darfield some weeks ago, getting three of the goals.

The scorers were Raymond Shaw, inside left, who got two, Philip Clarke, inside right and Peter Durkan.
