Miners’ Present for M.P.

As a tribute of esteem and appreciation, the employees of the Dearne Valley Colliery have presented to Mr. G. H. Hirst, M.P. for the Wentworth Division, and for many years checkweighman at that colliery, a set of travelling bags, whilst they have also presented Mrs. Hirst with a gold bangle.

Mr. and Mrs. Hirst reside at Darfield.
