Corporal Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Thompson, High St., Great Houghton, has died of wounds received in action on January 12.

He enlisted in October, 1915, and went to the Front in February, 1916.

Cpl. Thompson was previously employed at Brierley Colliery.
