Miss Marion Barlow, daughter of Mr. H. Barlow and the late Mrs. Barlow, of High Street, Great Houghton), was married at Darfield Parish Church on Saturday, to Mr. Horace William Jameson, second son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Jameson. Winter Street. Thurnscoe.

Given away by her father the bride wore a gown of ivory lace over net, and had an embroidered net veil attached to a coronet of orange blossom. She carried pink carnations.

Her bridesmaids were Misses Doris and Annie Drinkwater, wearing gowns of mauve taffeta and matching head-dresses of leaves. They carried ivory-backed Prayer Books, gifts of the bridegroom. Olive Hanson and Barbara Hartwell wore turquoise blue figured satin dresses and head-dresses to tone. They carried beaded handbags, the gifts of the bridegroom. The two smaller maids. Valerie Fisher and Anne Hartwell wore blue satin frocks and head-bands.

Wilfred Hawson was page boy in pale blue crepe de Chine, and presented the bride with a silver horseshoe.

Mr. K. Bilton was best man and M. Watson was groomsman. Among the gifts was an electric chiming clock.
