Wedding – Clayton & Greenaway.

Miss Eileen Greenaway, eldest daughter of and Mrs. G. T. Greenaway, Mary Street, Great Houghton, was married at Darfield Parish Church on Saturday to Mr. James Arthur Clayton, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. W. Clayton; Goldthorpe.

Given away by her father, the bride wore saxe blue crepe suede with fawn straw hat trimmed with blue, and carried daffodils.

Her maids were Misses C. Greenaway and Elsie May Cox, wearing lemon silk with picture hats, and Joan Greenaway in shell pink with lace Dutch cap, carrying daffodils.

Mr. C. Greenaway was best man and Mr. N. Walton groomsman.
