On Saturday, at Great Houghton Wesleyan Church, the wedding took place of Miss Lenora Pepper, eldest daughter of Mrs. A. E. Pepper and the late Mr. A. E. Pepper, and Mr. Leonard Rose, third son of Mr. J. W. Roe and the late Mrs. Roe, the Rev. H. R. Hackforth (Hemsworth) officiating.

The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. Colin Pepper (Wallington, Surrey), and wore sky blue satin beaute, with veil and orange blossom and carried pale pink carnations, lilies of the valley and maiden-hair fern.

The three maids were Misses Maggie Pepper, who wore green crepe de chine; Evelyn Andrews, in green floral georgette; and Mary Rose, in pale blue crepe de chine. Each carried pale pink geraniums and fern. They wore crystal necklaces, the gifts of the bridegroom.
