On Saturday at all Saints Church, Darfield, two well-known Great Houghton families were united by the marriage of Mr Walter P Shaw, son of Mr and Mrs Harry Shaw, of 15, School Street, to mess Dorothy Andrews, only child of Mr and Mrs J Andrews, of Rotherham Road, the service was Choral. Mr G Strickland playing selections. The Rev. J. R. Hassett performed the ceremony.
