The marriage took place at Darfield Parish Church on Saturday of Miss Annie (Nancy) Watson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Watson, 11, Dearne Street, Great Houghton, and Mr. Joseph A. Harnett, son of Mr. and Mrs. T, Harnett, 12, Dearne Street, Great Houghton.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin beaute, with a yoke embroidered in silk, and an embroidered veil surmounted with an orange blossom halo, lent by her sister. She carried lilies.

Her bridesmaids were Miss Audrey Chappell in green silk Miss Hilda Watson in mauve satin, Miss Amelia Harnett and Miss Edith Duke in blue satin, Doreen and Margaret Rowe in green dresses, and Pamela Mitchell and Maureen Mallison in white.

Jack Rowe in blue satin was page boy. Mr, A. Yates was best man, and Mr. r. Woodcock was groomsman. At the Church door Vera Prescott presented the bride with a silver horseshoe.
