Workmen’s Compensation Case

Emily Weldin, 29 Havelock St, Darfield, claimed £291 15s from the Houghton Main: Company, in respect of the death of her husband, Joseph Weldin, who was killed at that colliery.

There was no objection, and the Judge apportioned the amount: £191 15s to the widow, £51 to the daughter Kate, £20 to the daughter Louisa, and £10 to the daughter Ruth.
